Trek Travel Announces 2011 Ride Camps

All-inclusive trips allow cyclists to train like the pros

(Madison, WI) – Trek Travel, the travel industry’s leader in luxury cycling vacations, has announced that their
all-new 2011 Ride Camps will be offered March 6 - May 29 and October 2 – 23 and will take place in Solvang,
CA as well as the Spanish island of Mallorca. Participants of the all-inclusive, guided trips will have the option
to choose a six day/seven night excursion or a quicker four day/three night trip beginning every Sunday from
March 6 – May 29 and October 2 – 23.

Wildly popular in Europe, Ride Camps are designed to prepare cyclists for their seasons by simulating the training of professional cyclists; mirroring the locations, routes, and regimens of the world’s best teams and riders and making them available to the more passionate, yet still amateur, cyclist. Trek Travel’s Ride Camps are a no frills getaway perfect for cyclists looking for an early season riding retreat that features luxury accommodations at an incredible value.

“The thing that stands out to me the most is how much is included in these trips. The guides, the transportation,
the bikes, the hotels, and the meals are all included at a single price. Our guests can make the trip what they want it to be and have an unforgettable riding experience without the hassle,” said Trek Travel President Tania Worgull.

The camp locations are inspired by the training grounds of Trek’s two sponsored professional teams, LEOPARD
TREK and RadioShack. Taking advantage of its temperate climate and steep climbs, LEOPARD TREK retreats
to the Spanish island of Mallorca to get their pre-season legs in shape while the riders of RadioShack prefer to
utilize the rolling hills of the Santa Ynez Valley town of Solvang nestled in central California’s wine country as
their training headquarters.

In addition to riding the same locations as the teams, guests of Trek Travel’s Ride Camps will also have access to the same equipment that the teams train on. Trek Travel will provide all guests with a Trek Madone 5.2 for the duration of their trip with the option of upgrading to the Trek Madone 6.9 that is utilized by both LEOPARD
TREK and RadioShack. The Solvang Ride Camp starts at $1199 while the Mallorca Camp starts at $1299.

All guests of Trek Travel’s 2011 Ride Camps will receive a gift certificate for $300 towards the purchase of a new Trek 5 or 6 Series Madone at their local Trek retailer.
