Īpaši jāuzsver Roel Paulissen brauciens pēdējos 18km bez kameras, tikai ar pliku Crossmax SLR aploci, līderiem posmā zaudējot 5 minūtes, bet saglabājot 1 vietu kopvērtējumā.
