Dear Riders
For the next edition of MTB Challenge 2008 following additional rules will be provided:
There will be two main categories:
- team competition (as so far)
- solo
Each rider (or team) has to decide prior to the competition which one category will be opted.
Nevertheless, and thats the news for 2008:
As far as a team is forced to part (separate), she/he has the opportunity to continue the race as solo rider. In doing so, after the stage the rider announces the reason (crash, etc) to the race director and has to opt whether or not to carry on as solo. The time will be taken from to date accumulated one.
This options, that is having the opportunity to decide team or solo and even continue as solo after, for what ever reason, separating from team partner, is worldwide unique in terms of stage races. It will be undoubtedly easier for each participants to enter the race with the certainty, whatever occurs, those rider have all the time the possibility to bring the race to end and to have a regular time, meaning figuring on time table.

Diezgan paliels budžets šeit vajadzīgs salīdzinoši ar poļiem, un tieši attāluma dēļ. Bet bildes smukas :)
Pa Skotiju ir pabraukāts. Velsa nav apgūta, bet mēģināšu. Bildītēs jau super :D, daudz speciāli traili. Dienas climbings ar pie 2000m. Par organizatorikso līmeni nav ne jausmas, pieteikšanās nav tik kruti kā polijas ch, daliibnieku skaits ar mazaaks.

Info par prologu:
Prologue will be at 26th of July.
First will start teams (at 3 p.m.) then SOLO riders (about 4.30 p.m.)

Sacensību oficiālajā mājaslapā www.mtbchallenge.pl, sadaļā “Additional info” apakšadaļā “The race itself” atrodama šāda informācija par prologu:
"The start of the prologue for teams will be held from 3 p.m. 5 teams (one group) will take off at the same time, 5 next teams will take off 3 minutes after them and so on and so forth.
The start of the prologue for the individual riders SOLO category will be held from 5 p.m."
